Easy Access Living
Easy Access Living designates design criteria and construction practices that provide barrier free access to residential living spaces. These design criteria are user friendly for those with or without accessibility needs. The use of these universal designed features allows for minor modifications to obtain handicap accessible standards.
Collaborative (Design + Construction)
The traditional method of design and construction occurs where architects and designers work independently from the construction trades in designing the construction product. Contractors then work independently from the designers in their understanding, applications and construction methods for the building project.
Collaborative (Design + Construction) occurs when the designer and contractor choose to work together to incorporate the contractor input in the design phase as well as continue the designer input through the construction phase of a project.
