Easy Access Living designates design criteria and construction practices that provide barrier free access to residential living spaces. These design criteria are user friendly for those with or without accessibility needs. The use of these universal designed features allows for minor modifications to obtain handicap accessible standards. 

Greenport Duplexes have included these Easy Access Living features:

• Barrier free access (front door & garage)
• No-Step accessible roll in shower
• Wide doors & hallways
• Van accessible loading & unloading in the garage
• Accessible kitchen features (sink, cook top, oven, upper cabinets)
• Exceeds Virginia’s ‘Visitability’ tax credit standards
• Placement of electrical devices for easy access
